Founded over a century ago, the MARDUEL Frères company hes been fulfilling its vocation as a cotton spinner for many years.

In those early days, the company's core activity was the twisting and dyeing of natural fibres for haberdashery uses: darning, embroidery and sewing threads marketed under the brand name "La Ruche".

In 1937, the company was reorganised and changed its name to the Société Commerciale MARDUEL. It also turned its attention to the twisting of the new synthetic yarns that were beginning to appear on the market.

In 1983, without neglecting twisting the company added to its expertise in synthetic yarns by developping polypropylene spinning .

Today, MARDUEL has major business links with end users of technical yarns and as a valued intermediary between spinners and consummers.
